How is a Claim issued?
- Most of our legal Claims are issued electronically through the Claim Production Centre (CPC) or the County Court Bulk Centre (CCBC). This is done electronically by overnight upload and is much quicker than using local County Courts. It also gives you lower court fees!
- The CPC handles the automated issue of Claims.
- The CCBC handles both the automated issue of Claims (via the CPC) and the automated entry of judgments.
- All our actions to issue Claims, Judgment and Warrants are made electronically and then processed automatically.
- However, it can only be used where there are 1 or 2 defendants at present.
